Sporting Memories Australia - Summer Fun

This week has been another busy one for the Sporting Memories Australia team.

On Tuesday morning Richard was a guest speaker at the Payneham Probus club.

With over 40 people attending, Richard provided club members with a history of the Sporting Memories Australia program as well as heard some interesting sporting stories from a number of attendees.

And as an added bonus, Richard had the opportunity to meet Australian Paralympic legend Libby Kosmala.

On Tuesday afternoon we held our first guest speaker session at the Holden Hill Community Centre, with over 50 people attending the session.

Robert interviewed Sporting Memories Australia Ambassador Sean Carlin about his experiences as an Olympic and Commonwealth Games athlete. 

On Thursday afternoon Robert & Richard conducted the first Sporting Memories Australia session for 2024 for residents of the OPAL Aldinga residential care facility.

Residents enjoyed catching up with Robert & Richard, sharing stories about their past sporting experiences as well as having a few laughs playing Spot the Ball.
